On some days, the number of clashes reaches 300 – the most since the beginning of the war. However, the Ukrainian army restrains the pressure, destroys the Kremlin’s plans, does not abandon the tactics of active defense and uses them effectively.”
Details: According to Sirsky, the number of the Russian group has been around 710 thousand people for a long time. At the same time, the enemy does not manage to increase this indicator, despite active recruiting in the Russian Federation, because Ukrainian soldiers daily “minus” a thousand occupiers killed and wounded.
The commander-in-chief noted that in November, at the cost of huge losses, the Russians were able to take control of some territories of Ukraine, but the statements of Russian propaganda about the pace of advancement of the Russian army do not correspond to reality.
“Moreover, we are conducting our own active actions in some important areas and clearing populated areas from the enemy. In particular, our active actions continue in the area of the Pokrovsk-Myrnograd agglomeration. In Pokrovsk itself, in the last few weeks, we were able to bring back under control about 16 square kilometers in the northern part of the city. Logistics in Myrnograd is difficult, but continues. losses of territory are not allowed in operational directions,” said Sirskyi.
According to him, during the meeting, the issue of fortifications and engineering equipment, restoration of brigade combat capacity, analysis of the state of law and order and the morale and psychological state of the troops were also discussed.
“There are problematic moments. Solutions are proposed,” the commander-in-chief noted.
He added that he had assigned the necessary tasks to the military administration. Among them are the stabilization of the situation in threatening directions through active defense, provision of replenishment for combat units, the transition of individual TRO brigades to a structure with a strengthened unmanned component. Also, by the end of the year, the formation of the Cyber Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine should be completed.
