As Sirsky wrote on Facebook, during the meeting, he informed his German colleague about the operational situation on the front line, measures to move to the corps structure and expressed gratitude to the German people for the steadfast support for the fight against Russian aggression.
It is reported that the interlocutors discussed the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in service, ammunition, military and special equipment, as well as the preparation of the Ukrainian military. The issue of maintenance and repair of military equipment of German production was also considered.
At the beginning of the week, Germany handed over a new military aid package to Ukraine, which, among other things, included ammunition for the main LEOPARD 1 combat tank, for MARDER BMP, 41 thousand ammunition for Gepard installations, Iris-Tm and Iris-T SLS missiles.
