Svitolina lost one place, Kostyuk and Yastremska rose in the updated WTA ranking

On Monday, October 20, the women’s tennis association WTA updated its ranking.

The first racket of Ukraine, Elina Svitolina, who has already finished the season, dropped one place and occupies the 14th position. Belarusian Arina Sabalienko continues to lead.

In the second half of the top ten rating, the Italian Jasmine Paolini (6) and the champion of the tournament in Ningbo, Kazakhstan Yelena Rybakina (7) rose by two lines. Russian Mirra Andreeva (9) immediately lost three positions.

As for the Ukrainian women, Marta Kostyuk, who will no longer play this year, took a step up and is in 27th place. Dayana Yastremska was immediately behind her, having played two steps.

Outside the first hundred, Yulia Starodubtseva jumped 19 places and is 112th.

Oleksandra Oliinikova lost two positions and is in 139th place. Angelina Kalinin, who has not played since June, took a step back (159).
