“Hungarian Foreign Minister called a blow on the oil pipeline “attack on energy security” of his country”, – WRITE: www.radiosvoboda.org
“At night, we received the news that the attack on the Russian-Belarusian border was again attacked-for the third time in a short period of time. Oil supply to Hungary stopped again. This is another attack on our country’s energy security. Another attempt to get us into the war, ”Siyarto wrote on Facebook on the morning of August 22.
On the night of August 22, the commander of the Ukrainian forces of unmanned systems Robert Brove (“Magyar”) said that the Ukrainian military had repeatedly affected the Druzhba oil pipeline in Russia.
According to him, the blow was inflicted at the Unecha oil pumping station in the Bryansk region of Russia. He also published a video of fire caused by a blow. In Russia, this has not been commented yet.
On August 18, Robert Brody stated that a blow to the Netrotrotokacheskoye Oil Potton Station in the Tambov region of Russia for an indefinite period stopped the operation of the Druzhba oil pipeline, which was supplied by Russian oil through Ukraine to Slovakia and Hungary.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siyarto then also accused Ukraine of an “energy safety attack” of his country. And in response, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga reminded that Hungary has systematically made efforts to maintain its energy dependence on the Russian Federation, despite the long reservations that Moscow is not a reliable partner.
The European Commission has stated that they did not have sufficient information on the attack on the Druzhba Pipeline, which is received by Hungary and Slovakia oil, but they do not see the risk of energy supply to the European Union.
On August 20, Siyarto announced the restoration of oil supply with the Russian Federation Pipeline “Druzhba”.
