In order not to lose housing subsidies, within 30 days it is necessary to report changes that affect the assignment of assistance. In particular, it is necessary to report changes in the composition of the household, property and financial changes, and the stay abroad of a member of the household for more than 60 days.

The Head Office of the PFU in Donetsk region was reminded of this.

The recipient of the housing subsidy is obliged to inform the Pension Fund of Ukraine about the circumstances affecting the allocation of the subsidy within 30 days from the moment of occurrence.

List of circumstances that may lead to the loss of subsidies

Such circumstances include:

1. Changes in the composition of those registered in the residential premises (house) of household members, their social status, changes in the composition of the household member’s family.

2. Changes to the list of received housing and communal services, conditions of their provision.

3. Changes in the manager, utility provider (except when information about the change is provided by the service provider), creation of an association.

4. Making a one-time purchase in the amount of more than 50 thousand hryvnias, as well as the purchase or acquisition of ownership of property, the value of which exceeds 50 thousand hryvnias.

5. Acquisition of ownership of vehicles (except moped and trailer), residential premises in the city or in urban-type settlements (real estate located in rural areas does not affect the right to receive a subsidy, but the Fund must be notified of its acquisition).

6. Carrying out transactions for the purchase of non-cash and/or cash foreign currency, bank metals for a total amount exceeding 50 thousand hryvnias (it is not about a one-time purchase, but about all transactions in the total amount of 50 thousand hryvnias for 12 months).

7. Receipt of a one-time income by a citizen who has been assigned a housing subsidy or a member of his family in an amount exceeding 25 times the subsistence minimum established for able-bodied persons (except for targeted charitable assistance, insurance payments for medical and social assistance, inheritance in the form of real estate or its main part, grant or scholarship for education).

8. Opening a deposit bank account (accounts) for a total amount exceeding 100 thousand hryvnias, or the purchase of a domestic state loan bond for a total amount exceeding 100 thousand hryvnias.

9. The occurrence of conditions under which the right to receive a subsidy for overtime housing area is lost (the allocation of housing subsidies for overtime housing space is reviewed in the event of a change in the composition of persons registered in the residential premises (house), the composition of the family of a member of the household, the employment of such persons or the occurrence of other sources of income for them).

10. About the stay abroad of a person from a household or a family member of a person from a household for a total of more than 60 days.

11. Implementation of payments for housing and communal services, expenses for managing an apartment building, expenses for communal services or expenses for the purchase of liquefied gas, solid and liquid stove fuel by a third party at its expense or by an executive in accordance with the contract, regulatory or administrative act body at the expense of the local budget.

Changes about which the Pension Fund should be informed are defined in clause 90 of the Regulation on the procedure for assigning housing subsidies, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 21.10.1995 No. 848 On simplifying the procedure for providing subsidies to the population to reimburse the costs of paying for housing and communal services, the purchase of liquefied petroleum gas gas, solid and liquid household furnace fuel.

In the event of the occurrence of conditions that affect the assignment of a housing subsidy or benefit, a new application and declaration is submitted to the PFU.
