Stephanishina believes that Hungary will not prevent Ukraine from opening negotiating clusters with the EU this year

The desire of Hungary to make issues of future membership of Ukraine in the European Union at a national survey is only a small obstacle that will not prevent all the negotiation sections on the entry in 2025, says Viceremierk on European and Euro -Atlantic Integration of Ukraine – Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olga Stephanishin.

• Earlier this month, the populist Hungarian leader Viktor Orban announced an optional nationwide survey on Ukraine’s accession to the EU. In a list of 12 requirements for Brussels, published last week, he stated that the EU should be a “union but without Ukraine”.
• This year, the European Commission announced ambitious plans for the opening of three clusters of Ukraine with the EU before the end of the Polish presidency in June 2025.
