What preceded: Citing the words of the head of the parliamentary committee on the organization of state power “servant” Olena Shulyak, the Politico publication wrote that Ukraine is studying European models of electoral legislation, including electronic voting, with the aim of holding elections soon after the end of the war with Russia.
“We are interested in the nuances of electronic voting and the technical assessment of other alternative voting options, including from the point of view of IT security,” Shulyak told the publication, adding that people’s deputies are also considering the possibility of voting by mail, voting in person abroad on election day, voting for proxy and online voting.
