A fire broke out in one of the higher education dormitories in Kyiv in the Pechersk district, the State Emergency Service reported.
“On December 15, at 09:02, a report was received about a fire on Leipzig Street.
The fire broke out on the third floor, in one of the rooms of the dormitory of the educational institution. The fire was extinguished at 09:35 on an area of 5 square meters. m. During the extinguishing, 11 people were brought out from the upper floors to fresh air,” rescuers say.
The fire has already been extinguished, its cause will be established by law enforcement agencies.
