According to official information, according to Infobae, Ramos Santos came to Lithuania in September 2024 to follow the UAB TVC Solutions, which supplies drones to Ukraine and collect information for attacks on the company.

Lithuanian TV channel LRT reported that Santos came to Lithuania on September 2, 2024, and the next day, September 3, went to Norway. The mother of the detained Amaya Santos confirmed that her son had come to Lithuania in September 2024, but she said, he was not involved in what he was accused of.

Amaya Santos said her son was born in October 2003 and lived in Russia from the age of four. After the beginning of the Russo-Ukrainian War of 2022, he left Russia because the family feared that he could be called to the army. According to LRT, in November 2024, two citizens of Spain were detained in Lithuania, suspected of trying to set fire to a telecommunications company. Lithuanian authorities classified their actions as an attempt at a terrorist attack. The Spaniards have been in Lithuania since September. In addition, Lithuanian police detained three people and wanted several more people suspected of destroying the communication equipment that was stored in Siaulyai and intended for Ukraine. Whether the detained Ramos Santos is connected with these incidents is unknown.
