Thanks to the sound without loss, users will be able to broadcast FLAC tracks as 24 bits/44.1 kHz, which provides better detail of almost every song available on Spotify.
As before, users will be able to adjust the quality of playing individually for Wi-Fi, cellular communications and downloaded songs. In addition to low, medium, high and very high quality, the service will now offer the opportunity to listen without loss.
Audio without loss will be available in the SPotify app on mobile devices, computers, tablets, as well as many devices that support Spotify Connect, including Sony, Bose, Samsung, Sennheiser and others. Support for additional devices, including Sonos and Amazon, is promised next month.
In order to take advantage of audio -free audio, users will have to choose the appropriate quality of playback on each device. On smartphones, this can be done in the “quality of media file” section in settings, but in Ukraine and in many regions, this option will only appear in October.
Recall recently Spotify also added personal messages to the application. The company says that the service users wanted to have a separate space to share songs, podcasts and audiobooks with friends and family.
