South Korea’s opposition parties initiated the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol by imposing martial law.
South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol survived an impeachment attempt. However, the future of his presidency remains uncertain due to the crisis caused by the short-lived martial law decree.
