Bridge7, founded by producer Swati Shetty and former CAA agent Grant Kessman, has acquired the sequel and television rights to the film from UK-based Celador, which produced and co-financed the original with Film4.
Slumdog Millionaire, which is based on Vikas Swarup’s Q&A book, tells the story of an 18-year-old boy named Jamal whose life helps him compete on the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and reunite with your beloved girl.
