The Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siyarto called the penetration of Russian drones into Poland’s airspace “unacceptable”, and at the same time stressed that the resolution of the conflict would require a continuation of dialogue with Moscow.

Details: At the request to comment on the invasion of Russian drones into the air space of Poland Siarto said that in Budapest they hope: “The actions that lead to escalation will not repeat.”

“We are concerned about all the events that can lead to further escalation of this war. Of course, together with our allies, we condemn actions that violate the territorial integrity of the states is unacceptable,” he said.

At the same time, the Hungarian minister added that it is necessary to speak with Russia, and “blocking communication channels and rejection of diplomatic decisions is not a way forward.”

“If you block communication channels and give up diplomacy, we will not find a solution. The only way to keep hope and find a solution is to continue talking to each other and listening to each other,” Siyarto said.
