Since the beginning of the year in Ukraine, there have been almost 5 million fines for speeding violations – most of them with the help of auto-fixation cameras.

About this reported Oleksiy Biloshitsky, First Deputy Head of the Department of Patrol Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to him, exceeding speed limits is the most common violation of traffic rules among Ukrainian drivers.

Since the beginning of the year almost 4 million resolutions were issued thanks to the auto-fixing system on administrative offenses.

Still close 618 thousand times the patrol officers brought the drivers to justice, recording violations thanks to the device TruCAM. These “radars” measure speed by changing the frequency of the laser signal.

“Every ordinance is someone’s risky driving, speeding, inattention or haste that can have negative consequences. Safe speed is not about a fine, but about life”– emphasized the patrol police.
