Since the beginning of 2025, 7 people have died in Ukraine on reservoirs in the regions of the country. This was announced by the press officer of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Oleksandr Horunzhy, during a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center, writes UNN.

7 people have died in reservoirs since the beginning of 2025, from January 1 to today. There are different cases, the vast majority – fishing. That is, people go out on thin ice, and now the temperatures are unstable, you can see how the temperature changes. Now the indicators are actually positive, several days were negative, and when there is a constant change in temperature, the ice becomes brittle

According to him, the deaths of people were recorded in Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Volyn, Kyiv, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi regions.
