Shmigal: The Government has approved road cards to open the first cluster in negotiations with the EU

Prime Minister Denis Shmigal reported that on May 14, the Ukrainian Government approved the road cards required to open the first cluster in the precise negotiations of Ukraine and the European Union.

Details: According to Shmigal, road maps relate to the sphere of rule of law, reforms of public administration and the functioning of democratic institutions. “They fully meet Ukraine’s international obligations, our strategic and programmatic documents,” the head of government said.

The government also approved the negotiation position on the first cluster of “Fundamentals” negotiations.

“Our goals are unchanged: this year to open negotiations for all six negotiating clusters, and after the war, become an integral part of a single Europe,” Denis Shmigal assured.

Olga Stephanyshyn said Viceremierka on European and Euro -Atlantic Integration on the social network X that Ukraine has completed all the internal steps to open the first negotiation cluster.

“Ukraine’s efforts are unchanged. Despite the war, we continue transformations to join as a strong and capable member,” Stephanishina wrote.

Road maps from the rule of law and public administration are a condition for opening negotiations under cluster 1 “Fundamentals”, said the government office for European and Euro -Atlantic integration.
