Prosecutors in court proved that the convicted persons worked on the FSB of the Russian Federation. In 2018, an exponential person who lives in a temporarily occupied Crimea agreed to secretly cooperate with representatives of the Russian special service. Due to his connections and access to limited information, he “drained” data on Ukrainian politicians, heads of critical infrastructure enterprises, owners of Internet resources, whom the aggressor country could use for subversive activities against the Ukrainian state.
He has attracted Sharia to cooperation, which since 2019 actually lives in Spain.
According to the intelligence service, it is about the participation of the propagandist in the preparation and dissemination of staging videos, where the Russians interrogate Ukrainian prisoners.
As the investigation established, Sharius told the occupiers how to remove the interrogation in the “desired format” and what questions to ask the prisoners.
From Shevtsov Sharius received a video from the interrogations of captives of the Armed Forces, and after “installation” (from them were cut discredit for the Russian Federation, in particular with the signs of torture of prisoners) distributed through his information resources.
On the basis of the evidence collected by the SBU investigators, Sharias and his accomplice Shevtsov were found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (State betrayal committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons in martial law).
The case was considered under the procedure of special court proceedings in absentia, since persons are hiding from justice.
