Several men aged 18-22 were not released abroad: the DPSU named the reason

Recently, men aged 18-22 were given the opportunity to travel abroad, but not everyone was able to leave Ukraine, according to a statement by a spokesman for the State Tax Service of Ukraine Andrei Demchenko on the air of a telecommunication.

According to him, Permission does not apply to those citizens, who hold a position in the public service and which fall under paragraph 2.14 of the crossing of the border, such citizens are still allowed to leave exclusively on a business trip.

“And for these two days there were several cases that the boys from this age category decided to go abroad, but were in positions that allows only on a business trip,” he explained.

The DPSU reminded that in order to cross the border it is necessary to have:

  • passport,
  • Military accounting document either in paper or electronically-“Reserve+”.

“There are also several refusals because people were wanted. Because border guards have access to the Oberig system to check that they do not evade the credentials. Several citizens were refused because they were wanted, ”Demchenko stressed.

On August 28, a change in the departure of men under 22 years old came into force.

But the border guards warn that the new order will not extend to citizens who work in certain positions in the bodies of the State Administration or the state -owned enterprises. For them, as before, traveling abroad is possible on the basis of documents on business trip.

On August 26, the government updated the order of crossing the state border. Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko stated that men aged 18 to 22 will be able to cross the state border during martial law.

Interior Minister Igor Klimenko added that the purpose of this decision is to give young Ukrainians a broader opportunity for training, internships, legal employment abroad, so that they could later use the experience to develop Ukraine.

With the onset of large -scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and the introduction of martial law and general mobilization in the country, restrictions for a military service and recruits of a male article aged 18 to 60 years in the right to travel abroad were established.
