“Schemy”: In the case of bribes for voting in the Council, over UAH 36 million was deposited for two People’s Deputies

A total of nearly 36.7 million hryvnias was deposited for two people’s deputies from “Servant of the People” Olga Savchenko and Yevhen Pyvovarov, who are suspected of receiving bribes for voting in the Verkhovna Rada.

Details: From sources in law enforcement agencies, journalists learned that on January 8, one of her lawyers, Ihor Fomin, paid 16.6 million hryvnias of bail, appointed by the High Anti-Corruption Court, for Olga Savchenko.

Also, on January 8, seven individuals paid bail for People’s Deputy Yevhen Pyvovarov, with payments ranging from 150,000 to 5 million hryvnias. The total amount is almost 20 million hryvnias.

• On the morning of December 27, NABU and SAP reported that according to the results of an undercover operation exposed an organized criminal groupwhich included current People’s Deputies of Ukraine. According to the investigation, members of the group systematically received illegal benefits for voting in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
• Prosecutors of the SAP have handed suspicion to five People’s Deputies of Ukraine, who ensured receiving bribes for “necessary” voting in the Verkhovna Rada. The sums of bribes were 2-20 thousand dollars.
