State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) received information that the 155th separate mechanized brigade is on the lists for training in France (OMBr) Anna Kyivska, previously detained evaders who paid for illegal crossing of the border were caught.
This was stated by DBR communications advisor Tetyana Sapyan on the air of the Yedinii novinyi telethon.
She also noted that those people who try to cross the border illegally end up paying only an administrative fine, as this does not involve criminal liability.
Sapyan noted that a total of 12 people were included in the list, while the fact of their evasion from service was proven even before they were included in these lists.
“Now all the facts of this scheme are being clarified, the nuance that these servicemen are already mobilized abroad complicates the work,” she explained.
According to the adviser of the DBR, the French side cannot extradite these people, at the same time she expressed hope that everything possible will be done for this.

In January 2025, it became known about problems in the 155th brigade, which was formed and trained in France. Journalist Yuriy Butusov stated about the mass cases of SZH in the brigade, lack of command, necessary weapons, etc.
On January 5, Butusov reported that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi took the situation around the 155th OMBr Anna Kyivska under personal control during the Staff of the Supreme Commander.
On January 8, the SDF detained the commander of one of the companies of the 155th brigade, who went to the SZCH, and also incited the fighters to this decision.
On January 20, the State Bureau of Investigation reported the detention of the former commander of the 155th OMBr Anna Kyivska. According to NV sources, it was about Dmytro Ryumshin. The SBU announced an investigation into the facts of corruption in the brigade.
On January 22, the court sent Ryumshin to custody with an alternative bail of 90 million hryvnias.
On January 23, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrsky announced that the 155th separate mechanized brigade “gradually acquires certain combat capabilities”. He added that all the negative moments that arose during the deployment of the Anna Kyivska brigade at the front were analyzed and promised that the problems would be taken into account during the further training of servicemen.
