Details: It is reported that as a result of the special operation, a serviceman of the brigade of unmanned special purpose complexes of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces, who turned out to be a Russian informant, was detained.

According to the investigation, the suspect was supposed to give his “contact” the geolocations of military bases operating naval drones and the coordinates of the storage of unmanned boats and the routes of their movement.
Among the main “targets” of the enemy were the legendary sea drones of the SBU and GUR of the Ministry of Defense under the code names Sea Baby and Magura, according to the special service.
SBU officers documented the crimes and detained the person involved when he was preparing coordinates for a missile attack by the Russian Federation. Simultaneously with this, the Security Service of Ukraine took measures to secure the locations of the Defense Forces in the zone of enemy reconnaissance activity.
According to the case file, the detained serviceman came to the attention of Russian special services through his acquaintances, to whom he told about the details of his work.
He used one of these familiar enemies as a “liaison” to obtain secret information about Ukrainian defenders.
During the searches, a smartphone was seized from the detainee, on which he stored secret information and through which he contacted an “acquaintance”.
So far, SBU investigators have notified the informant of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information about the location of the Armed Forces or other military formations formed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, committed under martial law).
The issue of possible additional qualification of his criminal actions is also being considered.
The SBU notes that the perpetrator is in custody. An investigation is ongoing to bring all the guilty parties to justice.
