SBU: Official of the State Space Agency of Ukraine, who worked on the Russian Federation, sentenced to 15 years in prison

The Security Service of Ukraine states that thanks to its evidence base, the court condemned the FSB agent who was spying for the Russian Federation at the State Space Agency (DCAU), up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

According to the press service of the department, the court found it guilty under Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (State betrayal committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons in martial law).

The DKAU official was detained this spring during a meeting at the Ministry of Strategic Industry. According to the case, his Russian intelligence service was recruited remotely in 2024-for this purpose the FSB involved his wife, who lives in Rostov-on-Don and cooperates with the occupiers.

According to the investigation, the Russian Federation was interested in secret information that the agent had access, in particular in the field of satellite images and the location of strategic enterprises. Among other things, the FSB tried to obtain agent information about the dislocation of plants that produce navigation systems and high -precision weapons for Ukraine’s defense.
