SBU in Lviv will take a counterintelligence measures for three days

The Security Service of Ukraine reported counterintelligence (security) measures in the territory of Lviv, which will last from 16 to 18 September this year.

Details: It is reported that the measures will also be involved by the National Police, the Patrol Police, the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the National Guard.

The actions of law enforcement officers will cover the entire territory of Lviv.

According to the SBU, the purpose of measures is to prevent terrorist and sabotage manifestations, as well as to neutralize the threats of intelligence and subversive activities against our country and to improve the safety of citizens in the conditions of Russian armed aggression against Ukraine.

Security measures will be taken into account the legal regime of martial law.

During their conduct, restrictions on the passage and passage of the city streets will be applied, as well as checking the documents of citizens and inspection of cars. In case of reasonable suspicion of individuals, their additional check may be conducted.

At the same time, public areas and premises will be inspected to identify prohibited items.

“The SBU asks citizens to understand the possible inconvenience and respond properly to the legal actions and requirements of law enforcement officers, to have with them identity documents, to adhere to the curfew’s regime,” the message says.
