Long-range drones of the Special Operations Center “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine hit the oil production platform of the Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft company in the Caspian Sea for the third time in the last week.

Details: According to the source, on December 15, a platform at the Korchagin oil and gas condensate field was hit. As a result of the attack by the drones of the special service, critical equipment of the facility was damaged, production processes stopped.

On December 11 and 12, SBU drones already struck the Filanovskyi and Korchagin oil production platforms. The Filanovsky deposit is one of the largest explored in the Russian Federation and in the Russian sector of the Caspian. Its reserves amount to 129 million tons of oil and 30 billion cubic meters of gas.
