Details: According to the spokesman, in the period from January 4 to 8, the Defense Forces of Ukraine recorded the activity of Russians in the area of pipes of the Siverskyi Donets canal.
The direct language of the Zaporizhia: “The enemy used the weather conditions – dense fog and limited visibility to covertly move through the pipes to the collector near the village of Kalinivka, which is not far from Chasovoy Yar. In 4 days, the movement of more than 100 occupiers was recorded. According to available information, they settled in the collector for future assaults actions in the direction of Chasovoy Yar”.
Details: He added that on January 9, an airstrike was carried out on the place where the occupiers gathered.
“As a result, the enemy suffered losses – probably up to 100 people. For two days after the strike, there was no movement near the pipes and the collector. And on January 21, the occupiers organized arson in the collector, presumably with the aim of hiding the traces of the destruction of such a large number of personnel and to avoid evacuation measures. The smoke and fire lasted for about five hours,” said the spokesman of OTU “Luhansk”.
