In particular, a 9-year-old girl was injured: she had a landmine-explosive injury and a shrapnel injury to her lower leg. One of the hospital workers is in serious condition and is currently in the operating room. Two more medics are in a moderate condition. All victims receive the necessary medical assistance. The hospital building suffered significant damage: partially destroyed walls, broken windows and doors. The blast wave also damaged nearby buildings. The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office has started a pre-trial investigation on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Investigators and prosecutors are working at the scene, recording the consequences of the shelling and collecting evidence. The Ministry of Health said that the attack was again directed against a civilian medical facility where children’s lives are saved.
