Russian Military Engagements Intensify on Multiple Fronts in Ukraine

On April 10, the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported 173 combat engagements as Russian troops intensified their offensive in several regions, particularly around Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, and Huliaipole. The Russian military reportedly suffered significant losses, with 1,440 personnel casualties noted in the latest operational update.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine detailed that Russian forces conducted 73 airstrikes, deploying 230 guided bombs. Additionally, they utilized 8,162 kamikaze drones and launched 3,188 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 109 strikes from multiple rocket launch systems.

Airstrikes were reported in various locations, including Kolomiitsi, Velykomykhailivka, and Orestopil in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, as well as Upper Tersa, Vozdvizhenska, and other sites in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Ukrainian defense forces claimed to have targeted three areas where Russian troops were concentrated, alongside two command points for unmanned aerial vehicles.

Throughout the day, Russian losses included three tanks, six armored fighting vehicles, 64 artillery systems, two multiple rocket launchers, three air defense systems, and 2,014 drones, among other military equipment.

Frontline Developments

In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, there were 12 combat encounters, particularly near the settlements of Prokhody and towards Mala Rybitsia. Russian forces conducted 130 shelling attacks, with 33 involving multiple rocket launch systems, and executed three airstrikes using seven guided bombs.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, Russian troops attempted to breach Ukrainian positions 12 times in areas such as Vovchansk, Kolodiazne, and Starytsia.

Three attacks were recorded in the Kupiansk direction, particularly near Kurylivka and Novoplatonivka.

Ukrainian forces repelled ten Russian attempts to advance in the Lyman direction, particularly near Dibrova, Nadiia, and Zarichne.

In the Sloviansk direction, defense forces halted three Russian advances near Riznykivka and Yampil.

No attacks were reported in the Kramatorsk direction during the previous day.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian forces launched 19 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, and others.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 26 assaults in areas including Bilitske, Rodynske, and Pokrovsk.

Five attempts were made by Russian troops to advance in the Oleksandrivka direction, particularly near Kalynivske and Oleksandrhrad.

In the Huliaipole direction, there were 16 attacks reported in areas such as Dobropillia and Varvarivka.

One attempt to advance was noted in the Orikhiv direction near Shcherbaky.

Ukrainian units successfully repelled four attacks near the Antonivskyi Bridge in the Dnipro direction.

No signs of Russian offensive group formations were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces reported significant combat activity on April 10, with Russian forces engaging in multiple attacks across various fronts. The Russian military sustained heavy losses, including over 1,400 personnel, as Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled numerous assaults.
