Russian Forces Attack Dnipro, Causing Fire and Damage

In the early hours of February 17, Russian military forces launched an attack on the city of Dnipro, resulting in a fire in one of its districts. According to local officials, the assault caused damage to an administrative building and several vehicles, although there were no immediate reports of injuries.

Olexandr Hanzha, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, confirmed the incident, stating, “The enemy is attacking Dnipro. A fire has broken out in one of the city’s areas. Administrative buildings and vehicles have been damaged. Fortunately, there are no casualties reported so far.”

This incident followed an air raid alert that was declared across Ukraine due to the potential threat of drone strikes. During this alert, explosions were reported in both Dnipro and Odesa, indicating a broader pattern of military activity in the region.

In Odesa, the Russian bombardment resulted in damage to civilian infrastructure, with preliminary reports indicating that at least two individuals sustained injuries. The attacks highlight ongoing tensions in the region and the continued risk to urban areas from military operations.

A recent attack by Russian forces on Dnipro resulted in a fire and damage to property, though no injuries were reported. This incident is part of a larger pattern of military activity in Ukraine, including previous strikes in Odesa.
