Russian Drone Strike Damages Port Infrastructure in Odesa Region

On the evening of March 12, Russian forces launched a drone attack targeting port infrastructure in the Odesa region of Ukraine. The strike resulted in damage to a food storage facility located within the port area.

Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, confirmed the incident, stating that emergency services responded promptly to extinguish the fire caused by the attack. Fortunately, there were no reported casualties or injuries.

In the aftermath of the strike, all relevant agencies are actively engaged in addressing the damage and mitigating its effects. This incident follows a previous attack on March 7, which also targeted port facilities, resulting in a fire at oil storage tanks and damage to a grain storage facility.

A recent drone attack by Russian forces on Odesa's port infrastructure has caused damage to a food storage facility but resulted in no casualties. Emergency services have managed the situation, continuing recovery efforts after a similar attack earlier in March.
