More details: According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, more than 5,300 combat clashes were recorded during January. For comparison, in December 2025, there were more than 5,500 of them.
In the first month of the year, Russian troops also fired more than 113,000 attacks, including more than 2,400 from rocket salvo systems.
What preceded:
- On January 19, Russian troops carried out three guided aerial bomb strikes in the Slobid district of Kharkiv, as a result of which one person was killed and 11 were injured.
