Since February 2022, the United Nations has officially recorded the deaths of more than 12,300 people in Ukraine as a result of Russian aggression, as well as more than 27,800 wounded.

Details: According to her, most of the civilian casualties were caused by Russia’s use of long-range weapons. In November, such attacks were responsible for about 42% of deaths and injuries, which is significantly more than in previous months.
In addition, Nakamitsu cited the data of the UN Monitoring Mission on Human Rights in Ukraine for 2024. From January 1 to November 30, 341 civilians were killed and 1,803 people were injured as a result of the use of aerial bombs. These indicators are three times and six times higher than last year’s figures.
