Russian military sailors who served on the only aircraft carrier in the Russian army, Admiral Kuznetsov, were probably sent to the front to fight against Ukraine.

Details: The article says that the Russian aircraft carrier “Admiral Kuznetsov”, which has not gone to sea for eight years, may never go on combat duty again.
Instead, the ship’s crew is sent to the front in Ukraine, which has become another evidence of the crisis in the Russian army, the publication notes.
According to the Moklasen analyst, part of the aircraft carrier’s crew, which previously consisted of 1,500 people, was transferred to the ground forces and formed the so-called “frigate” battalion, which participates in combat operations as part of the 1st Guards Tank Army.
Forbes writes that at first this unit fought in the Kharkiv region, and later was redeployed to the Pokrovsky direction. At least one of the sailors from this battalion is already missing.
