Russia is growing troops in Armenia, despite the denial of Yerevan – GUR published an order

The commander of the troops of the Southern Military District of the Armed Forces of Russia issued an order for the “completion of” the military base of the Russian Federation in Armenia, reports the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Details: The intelligence has published a telegram of the so -called. Chief of Staff of the Southern Military District of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation General-General of Zemskov.

The document contains an order on the need to increase the grouping of Russian troops by “complementing” of the Russian military base in the Armenian city of Humr.

The telegram also has a list of measures for the urgent “completion” of units of the Russian part by selecting personnel from among the servicemen of the eighth, 18th, 49th and 58th general military armies of the Southern Military District of the Armed Forces of Russia. Also, the term is specified: from May 13 to June 11.

The commanders of the designated units were ordered to facilitate the selection of candidates for service in Humr.

Also, in this order, the requirements for professional suitability, the level of psychological stability and combat training of personnel, which will be part of the future international contingent, were clarified.

In particular, it is forbidden to select persons who participated in “illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances”.

Prehistory:

• On July 5, GUR said that the Russian Federation accelerates the staffing of a military base in the Armenian Humri to increase military-political pressure on the countries of the South Caucasus.
• The next day, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected this statement and named the information from GUR “fictional”.
