Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga believes that Moscow can manipulate or try to convince the world of the need to weaken sanctions or other concessions, but such statements should not be taken seriously without real action.

This is stated in the post of the head of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine on Facebook.

According to Sibiga, everyone should focus on Russia’s actions, not on its statements. The next few days, he said, will be decisive to determine whether the aggressor country is really set to peace, whether the US and the world intend to deceive.

“Pressure is the only cure for Russian lies. Moscow must have appropriate consequences for any manipulation or violation of the arrangements. We continue to work with our partners to provide it, ”he said.

The Foreign Minister also stressed that Ukraine seeks to bring the results of negotiations in the Freedom of Shipping in the Black Sea and cease fire on energy objects and to promote a just and long peace with the United States and European allies.

“Unfortunately, we already see how Russia is trying to manipulate and determine the agreements on the weakening of sanctions or anything else. But this is reflected only in the statements of Russia itself, ”he added.

Sibiga also noted that Ukraine has accepted the US proposal for a complete 30-day ceasefire on March 11, while Russia rejected it.

On March 25, the White House published a statement following the three-day negotiations with the aggressor country and Ukraine in Saudi Arabia.

The statement states that the United States agreed with the Russian Federation and Ukraine to guarantee safe navigation in the Black Sea, agreed to develop measures to implement the energy ceasefire. The United States also promised Ukraine to work on the exchange of prisoners of war, the dismissal of detained civilians and forcibly displaced Ukrainian children.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov said that if Russia move its military vessels outside the eastern Black Sea, it will be considered a violation of obligations, and Ukraine will have a full right to self -defense.

The aggressor country also published a statement similar in content to the White House statement. At the same time, the Kremlin claims that the item on guaranteeing the safety of navigation in the Black Sea will take effect after the US is fulfilled by a number of conditions, including the withdrawal of sanctions from Russian food exporters, the withdrawal of sanctions from the Russian farm and more.

In Russia, it is also argued that the ban on energy blows will be 30 days, starting on March 18, when a conversation with the US President with a Russian dictator has taken place and may be continued. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that Russia is already beginning to lie to mediators.
