On the day of February 28, the Russian Federation attacked the private sector of Kramatorsk in Donetsk region, the city council said.

According to preliminary data of the department, private construction was damaged as a result of shelling – more than 40 households were damaged.

“At least one house – destroyed, there are specialists of the Civil Protection Department, a double bypass is being performed,” Kramatorsk City Council reported.

At the same time, according to local authorities, information about the victims has not received.

Earlier it became known that on February 28, the Russian military hit three communities of Donetsk region – three people were killed, two were injured.

The Russian leadership denies that during a full -scale war, the Russian army causes purposeful strikes in the civilian infrastructure of cities and villages of Ukraine, killing civilian populations and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful.

As of January 2025, the UN Human Rights Mission was able to confirm that since February 2022, 12605 civilians were killed in the Russian Federation against Ukraine, another 29,78 were injured.
