The first wave occurred late in the evening on January 1. There were three fires: a non-residential annex to a high-rise building and two utility buildings caught fire. Residential buildings, road surfaces and cars were damaged by debris.
The second attack was around 2:00 a.m. on January 2. As a result of the impact, the shopping center caught fire. The rescuers quickly extinguished the fire, the sappers of the State Emergency Service examined the territory for the presence of dangerous fragments of drones.
The service noted that all emergency services were on site, and there were no casualties.
What preceded:
- On the evening of January 1, the head of Zaporizhzhia OVA, Ivan Fedorov, reported that Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia, and a fire broke out. Later, he added that, according to preliminary information, the Russian army struck Zaporizhzhia at least 9 times.
