According to the military, the main direction of the Russian attack was Kyiv region.
In total, 632 means of air attack were identified and escorted by the radio engineering troops of the Air Force – 36 missiles and m of different types:

According to preliminary data, as of 10.30, by air defense shot down/suppressed 577 air targets:
- 558 Russian UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber type (unmanned aerial vehicles of other types);
- 1 Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missile;
- 12 Kh-101/Iskander-K cruise missiles;
- 4 Iskander-M ballistic missiles;
- 2 guided air missiles Kh-59/69.
“Missiles and 35 strike UAVs were hit at 22 locations, as well as downed (debris) at 17 locations,” the ZSU concluded.
According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, on the night of November 29, Russia launched close to Ukraine 36 missiles and almost 600 drones, three people died as a result of the attack.
“The main targets of the attack are energy and civilian objects, a lot of damage and fires in residential buildings. As of now, it is known about dozens of wounded and three dead. My condolences to family and friends,” the head of state said.
Zelensky emphasized that it is worth working “without losing a single day so that there are enough missiles for air defense systems, so that there is everything necessary for our defense and to put pressure on Russia.”
The Ministry of Energy says that on the night of November 29, Russia launched a massive missile-drone attack on energy infrastructure facilities in the city of Kyiv, as well as in the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
