“An enemy UAV hit a Panamanian-flagged tanker that was waiting to enter the port to load vegetable oil. Unfortunately, one crew member was injured. He is now receiving the necessary assistance. Maritime rescue services are already on the spot, the fire on board is being extinguished,” the government official said.
In addition, according to him, there was an attack on a ship under the flag of San Marino, which was leaving the port with a cargo of corn. “Fortunately, there are no victims, the vessel continues to move,” Kuleba noted. He did not specify near which port the attack took place. Earlier today, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the movement of Russian UAVs in the direction of Odesa.
At the end of the year, Deputy Prime Minister Kuleba stated that in 2025, Russia doubled its missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian port infrastructure.
The Russian military regularly attacks other Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, missiles, anti-aircraft missiles, anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
