Details: Rubio expressed the belief that the only way to promote negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation is a personal meeting of Trump and Putin.

He noted that the US President was publicly offered to hold a personal meeting.
“Organizing such a meeting requires some effort, so I cannot say that it is already planned to choose a place and give. But the President wants to do so. He wants to do so as soon as possible,” Rubio said.
It is known that the day before Trump announced Putin’s phone conversation on Monday 19 May, after which he calls President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
The White House Head is also convinced that Putin was “tired of war” and said that a peace agreement was only possible with his participation.
