“And in order to achieve lasting peace, both sides must agree to difficult but necessary concessions,” he said.
According to him, that is why the US is developing and will continue to develop “a list of potential ideas for ending this war based on proposals from both sides of the conflict.”

- On November 19, a number of American media outlets reported on a new 28-point “peace plan” that US President Donald Trump’s team was developing in consultation with the Russians.
- Among other things, the document supposedly provides for the transfer of all of Donbas to Russia, Ukraine must also give up its weapons, cut its army in half and accept the Russian army as a second state.
