In the “Reserve+” application, the possibility to get a postponement from mobilization for parents of children with disabilities was added.

A new feature has become available in the latest update, reported in the Ministry of Defense.

The service can be used by:

  • parents of a child under the age of 18 who has a disability;
  • parents of an adult child with group I or II disability.

If both parents are conscripted, then each of them can submit a request for deferment through the application. The main requirement for this is the availability of up-to-date information about established disability in the information systems of the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity.

How to request a postponement? To apply for a deferral, you need to have the latest version of the application. You should also go through authorization in “Reserve+”, and later on the main screen, click on the three dots and select the option “Submit a request for a postponement” and the required type of postponement.

Then you should send a request and wait for a notification about the result of its processing.

What to do in case of rejection? The MOU says that most often the system refuses to issue a deferment, if the data on the child and his disability are missing or incomplete in the state registers.

You can update the information onlinepreviously by registering child in the system.

Data can also be updated in state institutions. The refusal notice should indicate where to contact with this issue. It can be:

  • center for the provision of administrative services (TsNAP);
  • the social protection body of the population (OSZN);
  • Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU).

“If you have been offered to apply to the National Register Office/Tsnap, keep in mind that the fastest way to do it is at the National Register Office – their specialists have the technical ability to immediately make changes to the register. In the National Register of Historic Places, the procedure may take a little longer, as the documents for processing are transferred to the National Register Office”– the Ministry of Defense advises.

When applying to TsNAP or OSZN, you must have a package of documents:

  • birth certificate or ID card of the child;
  • registration number of the taxpayer’s registration card (RNOKPP) of the child, if available;
  • pension certificate, if available;
  • medical opinion on disability in form No. 080/o, if the child is a minor;
  • a reference to the examination report based on the daily functioning assessment system (previously – MSEK), if the child is of legal age;
  • RNOCPP of one of the parents;
  • extract about the registered place of residence.

“Please note: disability records in the registers must be valid. If the validity period of the disability document has expired and the child has not passed the review, the service will not be available.

In this case, it is not necessary to update the data – you can submit a request after receiving a new document”the department emphasized.

If the system reports about unavailability of registersthe request should be repeated later.

Earlier in the application there was an opportunity to issue a postponement for teachers institutions of higher, professional pre-higher and professional education, scientific institutions and organizations, as well as spouses in which the husband or wife have a disability I or II groups.
