Details: According to one Reuters source, Kellogg allegedly decided that too many officials were working on the Ukraine issue in the White House; moreover, they are reluctant to admit that it is Russia, not Ukraine, that is holding back the peace talks.

Another Reuters spokeswoman indicated that Kellogg never intended to stay in the Trump administration for long.
Since the special envoy of the President of the United States by law is a temporary position, limited to 360 days, Kellogg considers January, when the appropriate deadline looms, to be natural for the resignation, the material says.
The White House and Kellogg himself did not officially comment on Reuters information about the resignation.
We will remind you that Trump appointed Keith Kellogg as a special representative for the Russian-Ukrainian war, and then entrusted him with the Ukrainian track, while Steven Witkoff was in charge of communication with the Russian Federation.
Kellogg visited Ukraine several times and met with Ukrainian officials.
The special representative of the US president previously agreed with the idea that a Russian victory in Ukraine would encourage the Kremlin to attack one of the NATO members.
