Details: US Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll and US Army Chief of Staff Randy George became the highest-ranking Pentagon representatives of the Donald Trump administration to visit Ukraine. They made an unannounced visit this week.

As the interlocutors reported, from Wednesday, November 19, they should meet with Ukrainian military leaders, legislators and President Volodymyr Zelensky, who is currently is visiting in Turkey.
The interlocutors claim that the purpose of their trip will be to involve the Ukrainian leadership in the process of peace negotiations with Russia.
The U.S. and Ukraine are also working on a major deal to share drone and autonomous munitions technology, and the trip is designed in part to support that effort.
It should be noted that the mass media wrote that the administration of American President Donald Trump allegedly secretly develops an idea of a new plan to end the Russian-Ukrainian war and is consulting with Moscow for this purpose.
In particular, they noted that Kirill Dmitriev, the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund and special envoy of the Kremlin, said that he spoke with Trump’s special representative Steve Witkoff and other representatives of the American side in Miami on October 24-26and expressed optimism about the plan’s chances because “he has a feeling that Russia’s position is really being heard.”
There were also reports that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, and Witkoff should meet in Turkey during Zelenskyi’s visit on November 19.
