Repair of Darnytskyi overpass: six metro stations will be opened in Kiev ahead of schedule

In the capital, on April 6, the trains of the subway between the stations “Lisova” and “Dnipro”, which were closed due to the repair of Darnytskyi overpass, will be restored in the Kyiv City State Administration.

“Due to the coordinated work of builders and technical services, dangerous work on dismantling has been completed ahead of schedule. The crews worked in enhanced mode – from Friday night continuously for almost 24 hours. Particular attention was paid to safety: dismantling emergency beams and crossbars over the metro tracks, which were the threat of fragile concrete, ”the KSCA noted.

It is known that the final construction work and preparation for the restoration of the subway work, including the supply of voltage and checking systems, are now underway.

Earlier it became known that the trains between the metro stations “Lisova” and “Dnipro” would be suspended due to the repair of Darnytskyi overpass. In particular, due to the dismantling of the beams of the run structures. Because of this, six stations were closed for the safety of passengers.

Recovery of train movement was announced on Monday, April 7, but the stations will be opened a day earlier.
