A US court denied his request to be released on $50 million bail from a Brooklyn jail, where the music mogul has been held for 10 weeks. U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian announced the decision after hearing arguments during a two-hour hearing in Manhattan federal court.
Diddy has previously been denied bail three times since his arrest, with many judges citing the risk that he could pressure witnesses.
Diddy’s lawyers argued that he should be isolated from apartments on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, where he would be monitored 24 hours a day by paid private security and prohibited from contacting alleged victims or witnesses.
However, prosecutors said Diddy was unlikely to follow those rules. After all, while behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center, Combs used the identification numbers of other inmates to make phone calls, violating prison policies aimed at tracking communications.
Prosecutors also said a 2016 hotel surveillance video of Combs assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassandra Ventura, known as Cassie, showed he was at risk of violence if released.
This video is evidence that the defendant is a violent rapist and a danger to society,

In September of this year, the court decided to hold rapper Sean Combs (Diddy) without bail pending trial in the case of human trafficking. His lawyer then planned to appeal the decision.
