Details: According to the document, 261,000 people are planned to be drafted in 2026 in the Russian Federation. Citizens of Russia between the ages of 18 and 30 who are not in the reserve are subject to conscription.

During this period, medical examination, professional psychological selection, as well as meetings of draft commissions will be conducted.

The decree also provides for the release from military service of citizens who are in conscription and whose term has ended.
