According to the investigation, on September 19, around 11:00 a.m., Russian troops fired at a medical facility in the city of Seredyna-Buda, Shostky district, as a result of which the commercial premises caught fire.
“While local residents were helping medics to put out the fire, the occupiers hit the area with a drone. As a result of repeated shelling, a 51-year-old and a 34-year-old civilian man were wounded,” the post stated.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office reported that three people were killed and one was wounded due to shelling of the border of Sumy Oblast over the past day.
The forces of the Russian Federation regularly attack Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, missiles, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
