Prince Andrew Released After 12-Hour Police Interrogation

Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, brother of King Charles III, has been released from police custody following a lengthy interrogation that lasted 12 hours. He was photographed leaving a police station in Norfolk on February 19, 2023, sitting in the back of a Range Rover.

The Thames Valley Police confirmed that no further statements would be made regarding the case at this time, and there are no plans for a press conference.

“On Thursday, February 19, we arrested a man in his 60s from Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office. The arrested individual has been released under investigation. We can also confirm that our searches in Norfolk have concluded,” stated a police spokesperson.

On the same day, Prince Andrew was arrested amid allegations of misconduct linked to his connections with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Investigations have focused on claims that he provided official British trade documents to Epstein, as revealed in files released by the U.S. Department of Justice earlier this month.

In October 2022, Andrew was stripped of his royal title due to the ongoing scrutiny surrounding his ties to Epstein. Following the release of new documents related to Epstein’s case, he left the royal residence.

Prince Andrew has been released from police custody after being interrogated for 12 hours regarding allegations of misconduct tied to Jeffrey Epstein. The investigation continues as authorities assess the implications of his connections to the convicted financier.
