“We propose: advisers met in January, leaders met in January. We believe that in January there is an opportunity for the leaders of Europe, the United States and Ukraine to meet – all together. There are documents that will definitely be ready in January for signing,” said the head of state, without specifying which documents are in question.
He added that everything “depends on the possibilities and willingness of the parties to sign.”
The president emphasized that he conveyed to US President Donald Trump and European leaders his readiness for “any format of a meeting with Putin.”
“I am not afraid of any format of our meeting. The main thing is that the Russians should not be afraid,” the head of state said.
Zelensky also commented on the statement of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk that the US could allegedly deploy its troops in Ukraine as part of providing security guarantees after reaching a peace agreement.
In addition, Zelensky believes that the visit of US President Donald Trump to Ukraine would be useful, especially if the head of the White House flew directly to Ukraine.
