Prague was held in Prague to support Ukraine with a call to create a joint air defense system

In the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague took place in support of Ukraine.

At one of the Prague Subway Stations “Angel” (Until 1990, the station was called “Moscow” – ed.) Czech activists partially covered the inscription “Moscow” with a large banner depicting a swarm of drones and a slogan in support of Sky Shield’s project (celestial shield).

The symbolic event, according to the organizers, should draw attention to the increasing threat of Russian attacks with drones and missiles and the need to create a common European-Ukrainian Sky Shield Air Defense System.

The event was organized by a group of activists Kaputin (Kaputin) and the initiative to support Ukraine Obache rozcestník.

“We have partially closed the Moscow-Praga sculpture because we agree with the Sky Shield’s project, which in France supported more than 50,000 people. The project is that we (the EU) begin to knock down drones and missiles already over the territory of Ukraine. We want our President and others to know and be trimmed about this project. The advantages of this project are that on the one hand we will learn how to knock down these drones and missiles, and most importantly, we will support Ukraine, which is our shield. The Sky Shilda project will mean more safety for all of us. We will not wait for the drones to fly to Prague, ” – said Radio Liberty Michal Mizner, one of the organizers of the action.

Another participant in the action Martin believes that people need to be informed that Ukraine can be protected from drones from Russia, knocking them down.

“This, in fact, will protect the eastern part of Europe – Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, as well as Poland. It is important for people to be aware of how close this danger [дронів]», – he said.

The Caputin group in her statement stressed that for her the sculpture of Prague-Moscow symbolizes not friendship, but terror:

“Today, Moscow is a residence of a regime that launches drones and missiles in our neighbors – and one day they can fly to Prague. Therefore, between the inscriptions, we symbolically place the graph of shock drones with sound, so that the threat is obvious to the public. The decision is the European Sky Shield for Ukraine’s project is not an absolute “closing of the sky”, but a common European-Ukrainian system that will start to knock down Russian drones and missiles before they reach Central Europe, ”the activists add.

Over the past two weeks, NATO countries have accused Russia of unprecedented violation of its airspace several times.

In particular, about 20 drones on the night of September 10 entered the airspace of Poland. Also, on September 13, according to Romania, a Russian drone that attacked Ukraine forces and penetrated Romania’s airspace over 50 minutes before returning to Ukraine.

Also, on September 19, three Russian Mig-31 fighter jets were entered the airspace of Estonia over the Gulf of Finnish and stayed there for 12 minutes.

In NATO, on September 23, Russia was sentenced to violation of Estonia’s airspace, stating that the Russian Federation “bears full responsibility for these actions, which are escalation.”

The Kremlin stated that the threats of NATO countries to knock down Russian aircraft are dangerous and are another significant stress of tension near Russian borders.
